Product Details
The original Oregon Trail Memorial half dollar was created over a period of 13 years. From 1926 to 1939 the coin was produced and circulated. The coin honors pioneers of the famed Oregon Trail who settled the west among Native Americans. Scandal over the market for the coin prevented it from being minted as much as planned and eventually the coin was abandoned altogether. The coin’s dynamic history, unexpected limited supply and stunning design have made it an exemplary object.
Our recreation of this iconic coin is picture perfect.
