How do I make an account?
To make an account, you can click here, or go to the top right hand corner of our website and click on the "My Account" button. You will find an option to 'Create Customer Account'. Once you have clicked on the link, you will be asked to fill out a form with some basic information. Upon submission of the form, you will receive an email verifying that you have made a new account.

What is the affiliate program?
Our affiliate program offers you an easy way to make money. Simply register as an affiliate, and we will provide banners, links, and newsletters that you can share on your website, social media, and opt-in emails. When your links result in a purchase you get a commission! $30 dollars for a new customer’s first order, and $10 for all additional orders from that same customer for 6 months. Commissions are only applicable to orders over $500 dollars.

No, Unfortunately Golden State Mint does not have a storefront. All orders are completed through our website.

No, you can buy as much as you would like. Free shipping is offered on all orders $199 and up.
What is your return policy?
All sales are final. Golden State Mint may often re-purchase bullion items, but is not obligated to do so. These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. Prices are either locked in on the phone or judged by market price on the day received. This is not guaranteed, and is at the discretion of Golden State Mint. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Can I cancel my order?
Orders cannot be cancelled. Once you have placed a bullion order with us, either over the telephone or through our website, you have entered into a binding and legally enforceable agreement to pay for your purchase of bullion items ordered. All prices are locked-in, whether buying from us or selling to us. It is not our intention to enter into buying and/or selling transactions, accepting the risks involved only to have them cancelled.
Can I have orders on a credit card automatically charged each week for the MiniMintage?
We do not have a membership or club program set up that can automatically buy weekly or hold them for monthly shipments at this time. You would have to order each week as the new MiniMintage come out.

How do I make a payment via bank wire?
Bank wires are accepted on orders of $1,000.00 or greater. If you choose to pay with a bank wire, you will be sent an email detailing the instructions. Bank wire payments must be received within 36 hours* from the time your order has been placed.
How do I make a payment via mailed check?
Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email with the mailing address. Checks should be made payable to "Golden State Mint", and contain the Invoice or Order Number in the memo field. Mailed check payments must be received within ten (10) days from the time your order has been placed.
Once we have received your check, we will begin to process your order. There will be a minimum of 6-10 business days of processing time, after your payment has posted to the account. While a check may be "available" in our account, it hasn't fully cleared your account. If there are insufficient funds in your account, we will not find out until the fifth business day. We therefore have to wait until the sixth business day to process orders paid by check. For orders over $1,000.00, please take advantage of bank wire payment option. Most banks offer bank wire processing through any branch location or through your online banking account. See your local bank for further details on wiring procedures.
How long is my price locked in for?
In order to reserve your guaranteed price, your payment must be received within the payment types' allotted time frame or our market loss policy cancellation fee will be assessed.
During checkout when you go to the checkout page your price will hold for 5 minutes for you to place the order. It will then update with a notice on the screen to let you know.

What does "spot price" mean?
The spot price of gold/silver is the current market price for a troy ounce of gold/silver. The price is influenced by fluctuations in the markets, currency values, current events, and many other factors. These prices are constantly calculated during market hours, and a Live Metals Feed can be found on our homepage.
How are prices determined?
Prices for gold and silver products are determined by taking their spot price, and adding our premiums for each product.
How long until I receive my order?
All orders (with the exception of orders including MiniMintage items) typically ship within 1-10 business days of receipt of cleared funds. In times of heavy demand, fulfillment times may be slightly longer. We are a mint and manufacture nearly all items on the website with the exception of sovereign mint products and few others. We have the metal in house, your order is locked-in and guaranteed. You will be notified by email as soon as your package(s) ships. The email will include a tracking number(s), and from that point on you can follow the package’s location, progress, estimated delivery date, and shipping notifications. If you do not receive your shipment within 10 days after receiving the shipped email with the tracking number in it you should contact Golden State Mint.

How will the product be shipped to me?
Orders are shipped by either UPS, USPS or FedEx. When mailing valuable precious metals, discretion and protection is mandatory. Your products are securely wrapped in protective packaging, then placed in the shipping parcel along with custom-cut foam inserts to prevent the products from shifting during shipping. Our shipping labels, return address, and packaging do not give any indication of the valuable contents of the package, so you can rest assured that your packages will arrive safe and sound.
Is there insurance on the shipment?
Golden State Mint fully insures all packages we ship. Signature confirmation is optional for delivery for your increased security. We are insured through Lloyds of London. Private insurance is best because a value is not attached to the contents of your package, so handlers are not aware of valuable items inside. However, we will not accept responsibility if you have left instructions with any delivery service/carriers to leave parcels un-attended for you without the need for a signature, or to leave the package with a third-party.
Does Golden State Mint ship internationally?
Yes, to selected countries. After creating your account when adding your address look for your country in the drop-down and then a list a states/provinces will become available in the State field drop-down.

Will I have to pay duties or taxes to receive my order?
All duties and taxes must be paid by the customer on delivery if required. Taxes and/or duties for your order may be required and are different by region. Please consult your local customs agents or authorities for information on duty and tax rates.
Will the Customs Forms have the value of my order listed?
We always declare the full value of the shipment on any customs form. There are no exceptions to this rule.
What if I ship via a forwarding service?
We do not support forwarding services. If orders are placed online with a freight forwarding address, all risk of loss for such orders is borne by you once GSM delivers your product to the freight forwarding service. Any problems incurred will be between you and the forwarding service and any insurance carried by GSM for your order will no longer apply once we deliver to the address of that forwarding service.
Can I pick my order up in person?
No, orders are not available to be picked up in person.
